At Shri, hygiene is maintained through a carefully structured housekeeping system. Our goal is to ensure residents enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained living space every day.
Regular Housekeeping
Rooms are cleaned 6 days a week, with additional scheduled routines for overall cleanliness. Dusting of equipment is carried out weekly, while items such as mats and buckets are washed regularly.
Fans, bedspreads, and pillow covers are cleaned on fortnightly to ensure a fresh and hygienic environment throughout the hostel.

Clean Facilities and Safe Water
Bathrooms are cleaned daily, with frequent mopping and regular upkeep of common areas. Dustbins are cleared every day, and proper disposal arrangements are provided for hygiene products.
The water sump is cleaned every fifteen days to prevent fungal or algal growth. In areas with hard water, water purification systems are installed to remove minerals that may cause skin irritation or hair fall.

Attention to the Small Details
From odour-control measures like Odonil and naphthalene to organized shoe racks and regularly maintained shared spaces, small details are carefully managed to maintain comfort and cleanliness.

Pest Control and Food Safety
Preventive pest control measures are carried out regularly to keep the premises free from common pests. Windows are fitted with protective Netlon mesh, and food is not permitted inside rooms to prevent rodents.
Food safety is also carefully monitored. Ingredients are sourced responsibly, and items such as meat and eggs are purchased fresh on the day to ensure quality and hygiene.
